Rabbi & Mrs. Travitsky

RAV & REBBETZIN
BENSALEM COMMUNITY

Rabbi and Mrs. Travitsky are the Rav and Rebbetzin of the Bensalem community. In 1996 Rabbi Travitsky assumed the position as Rabbi of Kehillas Bnai Shalom in Bensalem. What started as a Shabbos minyan going from house to house has blossomed into a beautiful community. During this time the Travitsky’s have been the driving force in the creation of The Bucks County Mikvah, the Bensalem Community Kollel and the Bensalem Jewish Outreach Center. Today, the community boasts a Shul, Kollel, preschool, as well as a vibrant outreach organization.

Rabbi Travitsky has taught classes on a large variety of topics ranging from Chumash to halacha, from philosophy to Jewish ethical issues. Both Rabbi and Mrs. Travitsky serve as a resource to the entire community with their care and compassion for others. They are always seeking ways to help people grow in their Torah and Avodah.

Rabbi Travitsky attended Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn, NY and Yeshivas Mir in Yerushalayim. He continued learning in Bais Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ, where he received his Semicha. His wife Malky (nee Fendel) is originally from Forest Hills, NY.

They have been living in Bensalem for the last 20 years, where they have raised their family.

With Brooklyn and Lakewood close by, we can do in town shopping and be at every simcha, while enjoying all the advantages of out of town living.

To me it means community, being a part of something bigger than myself.
